The dead of summer means we are currently in the middle of the dead period. The dead period lasts from June 24th till July 25th and it means that college coaches cannot have face-to-face contact with recruits and are also not permitted to watch them compete or visit their schools.

- Alabama made it to the top-six for 2019 four-star all-purpose back, Wandale Robinson. Robinson is the No. 4 rated all-purpose back and the No. 7 rated player from Kentucky.

- The reigning National Champions made it to the top-ten for elite 2020 running back Kendall Milton. Milton, a five-star prospect, is the No 2. rated running back, the No. 3 prospect in California and the No. 10 ranked player overall.

- Avery Johnson’s program added its second commitment in as many weeks when it snagged Juwan Gary, a four-star small forward from Columbia, South Carolina out from Frank Martin and the Gamecocks. The 6-foot-6 200 pound Gary takes the Crimson Tide to the No. 8 recruiting class for the 2019 cycle.
