Redshirt junior offensive lineman Matt Womack injured his foot during practice this week, his father said on Twitter on Friday.

Womack, who was Alabama’s starting right tackle during the 2017 season, missed spring practice with an injured right foot. He had participated in fall camp, but wasn’t seen during the open period of practice on Friday.

Alabama has used both sophomores Alex Leatherwood and Jedrick Wills at right tackle during fall camp while Womack practiced with the second team. Womack was named SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week once last season for his performance against Fresno State.

Coach Nick Saban is scheduled to address the media on Saturday afternoon after Alabama’s final scrimmage of fall camp.
