Senior running back Damien Harris moved up two spots on Alabama’s all-time rushing list during the first half against Arkansas State.
He passed Ricky Moore for 15th place in career rushing yards, then passed Shaud Williams for sole possession of 14th place. He moved past Williams on his sixth carry of the day, a 17-yard run to the left side.
Midway through the second quarter, Harris had seven carries for 58 yards. That moved him to 2,307 career yards. Moore finished his career (1981-84) with 2,270 yards and Williams (2002-03) had 2,288 rushing yards.
Next up for Harris on the all-time rushing list is Eddie Lacy, who sits in 13th place with 2,402 career yards.
Alabama’s all-time leading rusher is Derrick Henry, who posted 3,591 career yards.
