Recruiting has been the lifeblood of Alabama’s historical run that has featured five championships in nine seasons, and here’s how the Crimson Tide did on the trail last week:

  • Alabama extended an offer to 2021 defensive tackle KaTron Evans on Wednesday night. Although Evans, a Virginia native, doesn’t yet have a 247Sports composite star ranking, 247Sports has him listed as the No. 2 defensive tackle in the nation and a 4-star prospect.

  • Kayvon Thibodeaux, the No. 1 recruit and No. 1 weak-side defensive end in the country, announced he will be visiting Tuscaloosa this weekend for Alabama’s matchup against No. 22 Texas A&M.

  • Two of Alabama’s 2019 commits tweeted about continuing their football careers playing together for the Crimson Tide. Both 5-star offensive tackle Pierce Quick and 4-star quarterback Paul Tyson currently play for Hewitt-Trussville (AL).

  • Several Alabama commits took to Twitter to comment on Alabama’s 62-7 win over Ole Miss last Saturday.
