Alabama’s offensive line was named one of the 10 Joe Moore Award semifinalists on Tuesday. The annual honor is given to the offensive line unit that’s considered the most outstanding in the nation based on the criteria of toughness, effort, teamwork, consistency, technique and finishing.

The other teams still up for the award are Arizona State, Clemson, Georgia, Memphis, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Pittsburgh, Washington State and Wisconsin.

Finalists will be announced Dec. 4. The winner will be revealed during a surprise visit to the team’s campus in late December.

Alabama took home the honor in 2015.

This is what the committee said about this year’s offensive line: “One of the best units. Again. Probably a little better pass blocking than run blocking this year. LT (left tackle Jonah Williams) is as consistent as they come.”
