Alabama finished out a perfect regular season with a 52-21 thrashing of Auburn last Saturday. The Crimson Tide didn’t just have success on the field either. It also regained possession of the top-ranked 2020 recruiting class after landing four commitments in the past week, including the No. 1 weak-side defensive end in the country, Chris Braswell.
The first domino to fall was a commitment from 2020 defensive lineman Jah-Marien Latham. The 6-foot-3, 270-pound prospect announced his pledge to Alabama in a post on Twitter last Monday night. He is not currently rated by 247Sports.

Latham also has offers from South Carolina and UAB.
At the time of his announcement, Latham was Alabama’s eighth commitment in the 2020 class, but the Crimson Tide added three more within 24 hours of its win over Auburn.
4-star 2020 running back Roydell Williams committed to Alabama during his weekend visit to Tuscaloosa, choosing Alabama over Auburn. The 5-foot-10, 202-pound in-state prospect from Hueytown is currently ranked the No. 20 running back in the nation, according to 247Sports. Williams was a prized target for both Alabama and Auburn, but he also has offers from Florida and Mississippi State.

Alabama then nabbed its third commitment from 4-star 2020 wide receiver Javon Baker, who also visited Tuscaloosa for the Iron Bowl. The 6-foot-1, 175-pound prospect pledged to Alabama over Auburn, Arkansas and Florida. Baker is currently ranked as the No. 16 wide receiver in Georgia and the No. 23 wide receiver in the nation, according to 247Sports.

5-star 2020 weak-side defensive end Chris Braswell announced his commitment to the Crimson Tide on Sunday afternoon, helping Alabama retake the No. 1 2020 class. The 6-foot-3, 211-pound prospect is the No. 2 player in Maryland and No. 19 player in the country.

Braswell is the fourth St. Frances Academy (MD) player to commit to the Crimson Tide in the last year. Defensive end Eyabi Anoma was a member of Alabama’s 2018 class, while guard Darrian Dalcourt and linebacker Shane Lee are a part of Alabama’s 2019 class.
5-star 2020 running back MarShawn Lloyd announced on Twitter he received an offer from Alabama. The DeMatha Catholic (MD) prospect is ranked as the No. 4 running back in the country, according to 247Sports. The Crimson Tide currently has one running back committed in its 2020 class.
