Alabama bolstered its 2020 recruiting class Monday morning by landing a commitment from 3-star cornerback Jahquez Robinson.

After visiting Tuscaloosa this past weekend, the Jacksonville, Florida, native took to Twitter to announce his pledge to the Crimson Tide.

“After a Great conversation with Coach (Nick) Saban and a great visit with coach Sal Sunseri and staff, I want to announce (that) I am committed to The University of Alabama!! ROLLTIDE,” Robinson wrote.

Sunseri now coaches the outside linebackers. He was one of the seven new assistant coaches Alabama officially announced last Friday.

Robinson is currently ranked the No. 38 cornerback in his class and the No. 81 player in Florida, according to 247Sports Composite ranking. Robinson also holds offers from Florida State, Arkansas and Miami.

With the addition of Robinson, Alabama now has 11 players committed in its top-ranked 2020 class. Robinson is the third defensive back to commit to the Crimson Tide, joining 4-star cornerbacks Malachi Moore of Trussville, Alabama, and Javier Morton of Stone Mountain, Georgia.
