Alabama bolstered its top-ranked 2020 recruiting class with a commitment from 4-star wide receiver Traeshon Holden on Saturday.

Holden is ranked the No. 264 player overall and No. 48 wide receiver, according to 247Sports Composite.

The 6-foot-3, 195-pound prospect announced his decision in a video posted to Twitter.

Holden’s commitment to the Crimson Tide further strengthens the pipeline Alabama has built between Tuscaloosa and St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland. Alabama has brought in several players from St. Frances in recent years, including Eyabi Anoma in the 2018 class and then Shane Lee and Darrian Dalcourt in the 2019 class. Holden is the second player, joining Chris Braswell, from St. Frances to commit to Alabama for 2020.

Although Alabama only signed one wide receiver in its 2019 class, it’s clearly making the position a priority in this cycle. Holden is the third pass-catcher to join Alabama’s 2020 class, joining 4-stars Javon Baker and Dazalin Worsham.

Holden is the 12th player to commit to the Crimson Tide’s 2020 class.
