HBO will debut what it calls, “a never-before-seen look at football’s most powerful friendship,” on Dec. 10. Belichick & Saban: The Art of Coaching boasted scenes of New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick and University of Alabama coach Nick Saban sharing stories and discussing philosophies.
In one portion of the preview, released through the NFL Films Twitter account, Saban says to Belichick, “But when you get to the top of the mountain, you become the mountain.”
Belichick said later in the day on Boston radio station WEEI, “There’s nobody I have more respect for in football or as a friend than Nick Saban. I’m honored to be a part of anything with him.”
