It’s a hot one in Tuscaloosa today, but Alabama remained outside for its Tuesday practice. The Crimson Tide will likely play in 90-degree heat on Saturday against New Mexico State, thus no reprieve was given.

– Starting safety Xavier McKinney had a black cast over his left hand and wrist. He was seen with a club of tape over the same hand in Monday’s practice. UA coach Nick Saban may address his status in his press conference following Wednesday’s practice.

– Nothing has changed for either offensive lineman Emil Ekiyor Jr. and defensive lineman Justin Eboigbe; neither were seen in the media viewing period of today’s practice. Ekiyor Jr. is said to be out for, “a week or two,” with a minor knee injury and Eboigbe is still recovering from his foot injury.
