The Alabama football team remained at No. 1 in The Associated Press Poll that was released Sunday. Alabama moved to No. 1 last week after then-No. 1 Clemson struggled with North Carolina.
Clemson stayed at No. 2 with Georgia and Ohio State tied at No. 3. The SEC has three teams in the top 5 with LSU in at No. 5 and also receiving two first-place votes. Florida jumped to No. 6 after handing No. 7 Auburn its first loss Saturday. Auburn fell to No. 12.
Alabama travels to No. 24 Texas A&M on Saturday. Also, the No. 7 Gators are at No. 5 LSU.
