The Alabama coaches named six players of the week following the Crimson Tide’s 48-7 victory over Arkansas last Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
On offense, Miller Forristall caught two passes for 11 yards, converting one first down for the Tide, added one kickoff return for a gain of three yards, and helped block for UA’s rushers to accumulate 179 yards on the night. Mac Jones finished 18-of-22 for 235 yards and three touchdowns through the air, and added one rush before exiting in the third quarter.
On defense, Anfernee Jennings picked off a pass and broke up a pair of passes, had four tackles and helped limit the Razorbacks to 213 yards of total offense. Terrell Lewis recorded a career-high six quarterback hurries, had three tackles and a pass breakup, and helped force Arkansas into a combined 11-of-26 night passing that included three interceptions. Patrick Surtain II picked off a pass with a return of 24 yards, and finished with three tackles, including one for loss (-1 yard) and broke up one pass.
For special teams, Joseph Bulovas had a pair of field goals and six made PATs in as many attempts, was good from 31 and 30 yards out on the three-point attempts, and kicked off nine times for 501 yards, averaging 55.7 yards per boot with three touchbacks.
