It was a brief viewing session indoors as Alabama put an end to its open week.
– As was the case yesterday, Tua Tagovailoa was not on the field during the media viewing period. UA coach Nick Saban said Tagovailoa got some reps in Wednesday’s practice despite not being on the field during the media viewing period, so it’s safe to expect the same for Thursday.
– Running back Najee Harris (ankle) was not spotted with the running backs. Earlier in the week he was dressed out and with the position group, even if his participation was not 100 percent.

– Wide receiver DeVonta Smith (shoulder) and defensive back Shyheim Carter (knee) were fully active.
– Defensive back Jared Mayden (groin) was in pads but not participating in position drills during the viewing period. Linebacker Ale Kaho (hand) remains in the black non-contact jersey but a full participant in position drills.
