Given the relatively healthy status of the team at this point, there wasn’t much to see in Monday’s media viewing period.

– As UA coach Nick Saban said in his Monday press conference, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa did get the practice off as a precautionary measure for his soreness. Tagovailoa is expected to return for Tuesday’s practice and be a full-go for the Mississippi State game.

– Starting nose guard D.J. Dale was also not participating in defensive line warmups. Sophomore Phidarian Mathis was with the first unit in those warmup drills, surrounded by the usual starters Raekwon Davis and Byron Young.
