Alabama’s final regular season game will get the national network treatment.

The SEC announced the Iron Bowl will be the 2:30 p.m. CBS game that week. It will be the fifth consecutive Iron Bowl on CBS.

Last year the Iron Bowl drew 9.13 million viewers, according to SportsMediaWatch, which was the sport’s sixth-most viewed game of the season (not including bowl games and the College Football Playoff), fourth among non-conference championship games. The only 2018 regular season games to draw more viewers than the Iron Bowl were Michigan-Ohio State, Alabama-LSU and Ohio State-Penn State.
