– Running back Trey Sanders was not on the practice field for the third consecutive day. The freshman started on-field work with UA on Monday, his first practice since his season-ending foot injury, but he’s only practiced twice this week. He was in a boot working out while the team was on the field practicing.

– There was no change to the status of defensive end LaBryan Ray: with his position group and in full pads, but not participating in drills while in a black non-contact jersey.
– Freshman linebacker Christian Harris was practicing with a brace on his left knee.
– Cornerback Jahquez Robinson — the cornerback signee from Jacksonville, Florida, who joined the team for bowl practice after signing on Wednesday — was practicing in the second-team Nickel package at cornerback, with Marcus Banks as the other cornerback. Jalyn Armour-Davis was at Star, with Daniel Wright and Jordan Battle at deep safety and Jaylen Moody and Markail Benton as the linebackers.
