The University of Alabama no longer has a quarterback in its 2021 recruiting class.
Drake Maye had been committed to UA since July but flipped his commitment to North Carolina Friday afternoon. Maye is a Charlotte native and the brother of UNC basketball player Luke Maye.
UA is now left with just one public commitment to its 2021 class, Mobile Christian defensive end Deontae Lawson.
UA begins spring practice on March 13.
