Alabama’s 2021 recruiting class finally has more than one commitment in it.
UA added Anquin Barnes, a three-star defensive lineman from Robert E. Lee High School in Montgomery, to the class Friday after he announced his commitment on Twitter. Barnes recently added offers from Ole Miss to USC to preexisting interest from Auburn and others before picking the Crimson Tide.
Both of UA’s 2021 commits are on the defensive front, as Barnes joins linebacker Deontae Lawson from Mobile Christian in the 2021 class.
