The SEC Network is preparing for this week’s SEC Media Days by airing games from previous seasons, including a few Alabama vs. Auburn matchups.
The 1982 Iron Bowl game, that featured ‘Bo over the top,’ airs Sunday at 11 a.m. The 1985 Iron Bowl, which featured ‘The Kick,’ airs at 2 p.m.
The inaugural SEC Championship Game between Alabama and Florida airs at 5 p.m. Alabama clinched the win after Antonio Langham returned an interception for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter, which put the Crimson Tide into the national title game against Miami in the Sugar Bowl.
Several other classic SEC games will air Sunday (all times CT) ahead of SEC Media Days: 5 a.m., Kentucky vs. LSU (2007); 7 a.m., Arkansas vs. Ole Miss (2001); 9 a.m., Tennessee vs. Florida (1995); 1 p.m., Arkansas vs. LSU (2007); 7 p.m., Arkansas vs. Tennessee (1998); 9 p.m., Ole Miss vs. Mississippi State (2007).
