Recruiting has been Alabama’s bread and butter in its winning five National Championships in the past nine years. Even when he is supposed to be celebrating at the White House, Nick Saban is looking ahead and working to build Alabama teams of the future.

Saban and Alabama will host A-Day this Saturday, with an impressive list of prospects expected to make it for the spring game.

Here is the latest on Alabama’s recruiting prospects. All star ratings and rankings come from the 247Sports composite:

  • A month after receiving an offer from Alabama, three-star safety Quinton Newsome posted a picture of his visit to Tuscaloosa on Twitter on Tuesday. Newsome is the No. 73 safety in the 2019 class.

  • Four-star linebacker Kalen DeLoach announced his top nine schools for his recruiting process and Alabama cracked the list. The outside linebacker is the 24th-ranked player at his position in the 2019 class. He visited Alabama for its Junior Day on Feb. 24.

  • 2020 quarterback prospect Harrison Bailey said he would be visiting Alabama this past weekend on Twitter. Bailey is ranked as the second best pro-style QB in his class by 247Sports.

  • Four-star defensive tackle Antonio Alfano announced a change in his visiting schedule on Thursday. Alfano, the No. 58 overall prospect and the fifth-ranked at his position in the 2019 class, also visited Georgia.

  • Class of 2020 defensive tackle Jayson Jones announced he’d be visiting Alabama and other schools soon. The tackle from Calera High School also holds offers from Clemson, Georgia and Mississippi State.

  • Another in-state 2020 prospect, wide receiver Dazalin Worsham, listed Alabama among his top 10 schools. Worsham is the No. 2 prospect in the state for 2020.

  • Four-star safety Trikweze Bridges listed Alabama among his top 11 schools on Friday, via Twitter. Bridges, a four-star prospect in the 2019 class, is from Lanett and the 11th-ranked prospect in the state.

  • Lloyd Summerall, a four-star weak-side defensive end, announced Alabama among his top 12 schools on Friday. Summerall is the No. 12 defensive end in the 2019 class.

  • Three-star linebacker Keith Maguire Jr. named Alabama in his top five. Maguire is the 27th-ranked outside linebacker prospect in the 2019 class.

  • Four-star prospect Javonne Shepherd posted a picture of himself in Alabama gear, posing next to the national championship trophy on Saturday. The offensive tackle from Houston is the 30th-ranked player at his position in the 2019 class.

  • 2020 prospect Branard Wright announced he received an Alabama offer on Saturday on Twitter. Wright, from Dallas, is the fifth-ranked defensive tackle in the 2020 class, according to 247Sports.

  • Four-star safety Daxton Hill announced he will be at A-Day this weekend. Hill is the No. 2 safety in the 2019 class and the 28th-overall ranked prospect in the class.

  • Four-star cornerback Marcus Banks cut his list to five schools. Banks, from Houston, is also considering in-state rival Auburn.
