Alabama is back on top of the 2019 247Sports team recruiting rankings this weekThe Crimson Tide reeled in two commitments during the week to regain the top spot. Four-star linebacker Kevin Harris committed on Tuesday afternoon.

Harris chose Alabama over Miami and LSU during a ceremony with his Grayson teammates. He is rated the No. 6 weak-side defensive end and the No. 86 overall player in the country.

  • The other commitment was four-star prospect DJ Dale, who made his announcement on Wednesday. The 15th-ranked defensive tackle and 10th-ranked player from the state of Alabama had named the Crimson Tide among his top-five schools on April 5. He visited Tuscaloosa on April 21. Dale, who plays for Clay-Chalkville, picked Alabama over Auburn.

  • Four-star safety Chris Adimora received his first SEC offer last Sunday when Alabama came calling. Adimora is the 21st-ranked safety in the 2019 class.

  • Four-star prospect Justin Ebogigbe named Alabama in his top 5 programs on Monday. He is the seventh-ranked strong-side defensive end and 107th-ranked prospect in the 2019 class. Ebogigbe visited and received an offer from Alabama on Feb. 24, Alabama’s junior day.

  • Another 2019 four-star safety announced his offer from Alabama on Twitter on Monday. Lewis Cine, the third-ranked safety and the 41st-ranked prospect in his class, received a visit from special teams coordinator Jeff Banks with the good news.

  • Three-star linebacker Drake Thomas named Alabama among his top 8 schools on Monday. Thomas, the 19th-ranked inside linebacker in the 2019 class, received an offer from the Crimson Tide on March 21. Thomas is from Wake Forest, North Carolina.

  • Four-star wide receiver Cornelius Johnson announced he received an offer from Alabama on Twitter Monday. Johnson, the 47th-ranked wide receiver in the 2019 class, currently holds 19 offers.

  • Oklahoma Sooner commit Kori Robertson received an offer from Alabama this past week. Robertson is a three-star strong-side defensive end prospect in the 2019 class.

  • 2020 offensive tackle Courtland Ford has received an offer from Alabama. Ford, a four-star prospect according to 247Sports rankings, also received an offer from LSU on May 2.

  • Another 2020 prospect, Chris Thompson Jr., received an offer from Alabama on Monday. Thompson, a safety, received an offer from Texas A&M on Feb. 26 and has been back on campus twice since.

  • The fourth-ranked running back prospect in the 2019 class has Alabama on a list of schools he’ll be monitoring closely. Jerrion Ealy, the 67th-ranked prospect in the 2019 class, visited Alabama on April 27, after receiving an offer from the Crimson Tide on Feb. 7. He listed 10 schools on Twitter. Ealy is also considered one of the top baseball prospects in the country and could be chosen in the first round of the MLB draft.

  • BJ Ojulari, a 2020 weak-side defensive end, tweeted he received an Alabama offer on Twitter on Tuesday. Ojulari currently holds 14 offers, including from the in-state Georgia Bulldogs.

  • Seth McLaughlin, a 2020 offensive tackle, also received an offer from Alabama this past week. This offer came a couple of days after McLaughlin received an offer from Auburn and four days before he received an offer from LSU.

  • Four-star wide receiver Mycah Pittman named Alabama among his top 5 schools. Pittman is the No. 11 receiver and the 64th-overall ranked prospect in the 2019 class. He visited Alabama on Feb. 24, but the crystal balls at 247Sports point toward him choosing the Florida Gators.

  • Nnamdi Adim-Madumere received an offer from Alabama this past week. The four-star receiver is the 57th-ranked wide receiver prospect in the 2019 class.

  • Alabama kept busy in Duncanville, Texas this past week, as the Crimson Tide made an offer to 2020 dual threat quarterback Ja’Quinden Jackson on Tuesday. 247Sports ranks Jackson as the 49th best prospect in the class and the second best athlete.

  • Four-star defensive tackle Joshua Harris picked up an Alabama offer too. Harris, the 16th-ranked prospect at his position in the 2019 class, currently holds 16 offers.

  • Four-star cornerback Jeffery Carter posted a picture of himself on campus on Wednesday. Carter is the 13th-ranked corner and the 125th-ranked overall prospect in the 2019 class. He named Alabama among his top six schools earlier this year.

  • Defensive tackle and South Carolina commit Jahkeem Green announced he has received an offer from Alabama on Wednesday. Green is expected to be a JUCO transfer from Highland Community College.

  • Defensive tackle Antonio Alfano announced he’ll be making his decision on which school to attend on May 18th. Alfano is the 60th-ranked prospect overall and the fifth-ranked strong-side defensive end in the 2019 class.

  • 2021 outside linebacker prospect Chaz Chambliss tweeted he received an offer from Alabama on Friday. Chambliss currently holds 16 offers.

  • 2020 prospect James Sylvester received an offer from Alabama on Friday as well. Sylvester, a weak-side defensive end, currently holds five offers.

  • Four-star athlete Tamauzia Brown tweeted he received an offer from the Alabama Crimson Tide. Brown is the 19th-ranked athlete in the 2019 class.

  • 2021 strong-side defensive end Jonathan Jefferson picked up his ninth offer of the recruiting cycle, from Alabama, on Friday.

  • The top-ranked JUCO offensive tackle, Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu, received an Alabama offer on Saturday. Laulu holds 22 offers, but is seen as a USC lean by the crystal balls.

  • Three-star defensive tackle Lloyd Murray Jr. named Alabama among his top-five schools on Saturday. Murray, 75th-ranked defensive tackle in the 2019 class, visited Alabama on April 7.

Basketball:

  • 2020 shooting guard Austin Harvell tweeted out a picture with Alabama coach Avery Johnson on campus after receiving an offer on Wednesday.
