As the No. 1 player and No. 2 defensive end in the 2019 class, Kayvon Thibodeaux may have been the highest-rated prospect on UA’s campus. He posted a video on Twitter updating his visit.

Away from Tuscaloosa, Alabama missed out on 5-star 2019 safety Daxton Hill. The Tulsa, Oklahoma, product, who is the No. 1 safety in his class, committed to Michigan last Tuesday.

Current Alabama commit and 4-star defensive tackle Jayson Jones responded to Crimson Tide strength and conditioning coach Scott Cochran about what kind of work ethic he should expect from Jones when he gets to campus.

4-star 2019 defensive end Braylen Ingraham announced he will be visiting Tuscaloosa this Saturday to watch Alabama take on Louisiana-Lafayette. The 6-foot-4, 260-pound prospect from St. Thomas Aquinas (FL) is the No. 25 strong side defensive end in his class.

On the basketball recruiting front: 5-star 2019 power forward Trendon Watford was also in town this past weekend.
