Alabama steamrolled Arkansas on Saturday and also had a strong week on the recruiting trail. The Crimson Tide picked up a commitment and made another recruit’s top six.

  • Defensive end Jordan Davis reaffirmed his commitment to Alabama on Saturday. Davis was originally a member of the Crimson Tide’s 2018 recruiting class but ended up playing for Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Mississippi this season. The 6-foot-5, 238-pound player was ranked as the No. 6 weak-side defensive end and No. 108 overall player coming out of high school. Davis will join Alabama’s 2020 recruiting class.

Current Alabama commit and 5-star 2019 offensive tackle Pierce Quick was excited to hear about Davis’ commitment.

  • Alabama made the cut for 4-star 2019 tight end Keon Zipperer on Friday. The 6-foot-2, 240-pound prospect announced his top six schools via Twitter. Zipperer is listed as the No. 4 tight end and No. 133 player in the country, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.

  • Several Alabama commits made the roster for the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game. Here are the Crimson Tide commits from the 2019 class who will be suiting up for Alabama in the matchup:

4-star defensive tackle DJ Dale from Clay-Chalkville High School in Pinson, Alabama.

4-star offensive tackle Amari Kight from Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama.

4-star cornerback Christian Williams from Daphne High School in Daphne, Alabama.

3-star kicker Will Reichard from Hoover High School in Hoover, Alabama.

On the Mississippi side, 4-star 2019 conerback Brandon Turnage from Oxford, Mississippi, and 4-star 2019 defensive end Byron Young from Laurel, Mississippi, made the roster.
