Currently boasting the top-ranked 2019 and 2020 recruiting classes, the future is bright for the Crimson Tide. While most of Alabama’s current commits have finished their seasons, several have advanced in the playoffs. Check out how they did this past week:
2019 Class
4-star offensive tackle Amari Kight helped Thompson’s (AL) offense amass 447 yards in a thrilling 31-28 win over Hoover (AL). Thompson advanced to the Class 7A state championship with the win.
4-star quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa completed 12 of his 28 passes for 228 yards and a touchdown in Thompson’s win. He led the Warriors on an 85-yard game-winning drive in the final two minutes.
4-star defensive lineman DJ Dale rushed for a touchdown in Clay-Chalkville’s (AL) 45-9 win over Oxford (AL).
3-star kicker Will Reichard had no stats available in Hoover’s loss.
4-star linebacker King Mwikuta and Troup County (GA) escaped with a 20-17 win over Cairo (GA).
4-star defensive end Byron Young and West Jones (MS) advanced to the Class 5A state championship with a 21-13 victory over Picayune (MS).
4-star linebacker Kevin Harris had no stats available in Grayson’s (GA) 20-15 loss to Lowndes (GA).
4-star defensive end Braylen Ingraham had no stats available. St. Thomas Aquinas (FL) continued to roll with a 35-0 win over Dwyer (FL).
