National Signing Day got off to a rough start for Alabama when 4-star defensive end Khris Bogle flipped to Florida in a ceremony at his high school. Bogle had been committed to Alabama since January 5.
Bogle was one of four commitments Alabama entered the day with who were unsigned. He was ranked as the No. 71 player in the nation and No. 3 defensive end in the 247Sports Composite.
He had continued to take visits to other schools after committing to Alabama. The Fort Lauderdale native made his final visit before National Signing Day to Florida.
Bogle posted 54 tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks in his senior season, missing six games with injuries.
Bogle’s finalists were Alabama, Florida, Miami and Tennessee.
