As a junior at Booker T. Washington, Brooks caught 99 passes for 1,281 yards and 18 touchdowns. He chose Alabama over numerous Power Five programs including in-state schools Florida and Miami.

The Crimson Tide has had a run of remarkable success in recruiting wide receivers from Florida under head coach Nick Saban, including eventual NFL first-round draft choices Amari Cooper, Calvin Ridley and Jerry Jeudy. In addition to receiving a commitment from Brooks, Alabama also has a commitment from Agiye Hall of Valrico, Fla., also considered one of the nation’s Top 60 prospects by Rivals and ESPN.

In addition to Brooks and Hall, Alabama has received commitments from two in-state prospects, linebacker Deontae Lawson of Mobile Christian and defensive tackle Anquin Barnes of Montgomery.
