Former Alabama defensive tackle O.J. Smith announced that he has committed to the University of Minnesota.

Smith made the announcement on Twitter and Instagram.

Smith was redshirted his freshman year at Alabama and saw minimal playing time over the past two seasons.
He will sit out for a year at Minnesota due to NCAA transfer rules.
