The team worked indoors with the non-stop rain in Tuscaloosa that has persisted all day. Here is what I witnessed during the media viewing period.
Offensive line
The group worked in groups of five going through drills. The first group consisted of Jonah Williams, Ross Pierschbacher, Bradley Bozeman, Lester Cotton and Matt Womack. The second group consisted of Scott Lashley, Dallas Warmack, J.C. Hassenauer, Richie Petitbon and Hale Hentges.
Running backs
The group went through drills in the following order: Josh Jacobs, Damien Harris, Brian Robinson, Bo Scarbrough and Najee Harris. Also spotted with the group is former UA standout Glen Coffee, who is serving as a student-assistant as he finishes his degree.
Nickel/Dime defense
Anthony Averett and Trevon Diggs were at corner, Minkah Fitzpatrick and Ronnie Harrison were the safeties and Tony Brown and Hootie Jones were the Star and Money.
Wide receivers
On one side was Robert Foster followed by Jerry Jeudy and Tyrell Shavers and the other side featured Calvin Ridley, Derek Kief and Devonta Smith.
Odds and Ends
Former Alabama standouts Javier Arenas and Barrett Jones took in the practice.
