The team underwent warm-up drills prior to the second scrimmage of fall inside Bryant-Denny Stadium. Here is what I saw during the media viewing period.
Defensive line
The group worked in fours with Da’Shawn Hand, Da’Ron Payne, Josh Frazier and Raekwon Davis in the first grouping. Isaiah Buggs, Jamar King, Johnny Dwight and Quinnen Williams in the second. LaBryan Ray and Phidarian Mathis were in the third group.
Offensive line
The group remained the same with Jonah Williams, Ross Pierschbacher, Bradley Bozeman, Lester Cotton and Matt Womack from LT-RT.
Wide receivers
The group went through drills in the following order: Calvin Ridley, Cam Sims, Jerry Jeudy, Robert Foster, Xavian Marks, Chardarius Townsend, Devonta Smith, Derek Kief, Tyrell Shavers and Henry Ruggs.
Running Backs
Once again, Bo Scarbrough wasn’t spotted, but it’s nothing serious. Damien Harris led the group followed by Najee Harris, Brian Robinson and Ronnie Clark. Josh Jacobs was again not spotted.
