The team worked outside doing its typical Tuesday practice of game week. It was 90 degrees with a feels-like temp of 96. Here is what I saw during the media viewing period.
Defensive line
The unit remained the same as its been all fall. Da’Shawn Hand, Da’Ron Payne, Josh Frazier and Raekwon Davis made up the first grouping. Isaiah Buggs, Jamar King, Johnny Dwight and Quinnen Williams was the second grouping.
Running backs
Josh Jacobs remains limited. It’s a safe bet at this point that he will not play against Florida State. Damien Harris led the group with Bo Scarbrough, Najee Harris, Brian Robinson and Ronnie Clark following. Robinson and Clark wore scout team numbers to replicate Florida State running backs.
Nickel defense
Anthony Averett was at right corner, Trevon Diggs at left corner, Minkah Fitzpatrick at Star, Ronnie Harrison and Hootie Jones at safety and Shaun Dion Hamilton and Rashaan Evans at middle linebacker.
