The team continued work inside for its Wednesday practice. Here is what I saw during the shortened media viewing period.
Raekwon Davis was again not spotted during the media viewing period. However, he was seen walking toward practice in a black, no-contact jersey. I’m of the opinion that he still plays Saturday night. Nick Saban will update his status during his press conference tonight.
Josh Jacobs was at practice but was again limited. I doubt he’ll play Saturday night. Najee Harris appeared to be healthy. Saban said he expects Harris to play against Florida State. “I don’t think there’s any question of the fact that he’s done an outstanding job in his development here through spring practice and also fall camp. Right now, he is going to have an opportunity to play in this game and I think he’ll make a significant contribution to our team throughout the season. We’re very excited that he’s here and sort of trying to encourage his development in every way that we can so that he can be a very positive performer for us.”
