Sophomore defensive end Raekwon Davis remains day to day following a minor gun shot wound he sustained early Sunday morning outside a Tuscaloosa bar. His status for the Florida State is questionable.
“He’s day-to-day, and he has not practiced yet,” UA coach Nick Saban said Wednesday morning on the SEC Coaches Teleconference. “It’s a medical decision that when they decide that he can go out and do something, we’ll use him accordingly.”
Wednesday is usually the last day a player can begin practice during the week and still play in Saturday’s game.
If Davis is unable to play, Josh Frazier or Isaiah Buggs will be expected to play more snaps.
