Alabama was working in the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility today on a cold, rainy day in Tuscaloosa. The remnants of Hurricane Irma were coming through, though the rain wasn’t bad. The team was wearing shells for its Monday practice to begin preparations against Colorado State.

The media viewing window was limited to one period of practice today, so the notes are a bit on the shorter side.

Offensive line

With Lester Cotton out, Alabama shuffled things up a little on the first team offensive line. Right tackle Matt Womack (who won SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week) was playing right guard during the viewing period, while freshman Jedrick Wills was at right tackle. Scott Lashley moved up and was the backup right tackle with Wills practicing with the starters. You can see the picture above of the first team offensive line.

Running backs

Josh Jacobs was at practice and appeared to be participating fully during the viewing period. Brian Robinson was wearing No. 1, mimicking Colorado State’s Dalyn Dawkins for the scout team.

Injuries

Dylan Moses was working with the linebackers but was wearing a black noncontact jersey. Rashaan Evans and Anfernee Jennings were at practice in black jerseys, but were working with trainer Jeff Allen instead of their position groups. Nick Saban said earlier that he might not know if they’ll be able to play until Wednesday.
