Alabama was working inside on the final day of practice with a viewing period. The weather in Tuscaloosa got chilly and wet overnight. The Crimson Tide was in full pads, as is normal on Wednesday. You can watch a video of the open period here.
- Alabama looks much better health-wise today than earlier this week. There were a handful of players who were limited earlier this week who were back today.
- Minkah Fitzpatrick looked good while working out with the DBs. Nick Saban said earlier this week he expected Fitzpatrick to be limited or miss practice on Monday but be back on Tuesday.
- Jonah Williams, who didn’t appear to be doing much on Monday, was working with the first string again today. Looked fine.
- Speaking of the offensive line, Brent Key was tearing into the second team offensive line for some missteps on an inside run as we were leaving. He was not happy. He told the group they’d be running all night if they didn’t get it right.
- Dylan Moses continued to work with the inside linebacker and appeared to be running with the second team. Looked like Vandarius Cowan was also working with the inside linebackers, as was Joshua McMillon.
- Ben Davis was still with the outside linebackers. That group still includes Anfernee Jennings, Jamey Mosley, Chris Allen and some others.
- Reggie Ragland was hanging out at practice today. Saw him walking in with Denzel Devall (on Alabama’s staff) as well as Mack Wilson, Christian Miller and Terrell Lewis. No, Reggie is not available to help out at linebacker. The Chiefs are on a bye this week.
- Not exactly a position of concern but the RBs look good. Damien Harris was first in the drills, followed by Bo Scarbrough, Josh Jacobs, Najee Harris and Brian Robinson (wearing a scout team number).
