The team worked on the back practice fields as it prepares for the annual grudge match with Auburn. Here is what I witnessed during the media viewing period.
Injured players
Minkah Fitzpatrick was in attendance and showed no limitations from a hamstring injury. The three linebackers — Terrell Lewis, Christian Miller and Mack Wilson — were not spotted. However, that doesn’t mean they didn’t practice. Oftentimes players take the field once reporters leave. Left guard Ross Pierschbacher also wasn’t on the field.
Inside linebackers
Rashaan Evans led the group followed by Dylan Moses, Keith Holcombe, Markail Benton (warning a scout jersey of 49 to simulate Darrell Williams), Joshua McMillon and VanDarius Cowan.
Outside linebackers
The group was led by Anfernee Jennings, Jamey Mosely, Ben Davis and Mekhi Brown.
