The team again worked inside for its fifth bowl practice. Here is what I saw during the media viewing period.
Deionte is fine
After the internet was set ablaze by rumors that safety Deionte Thompson tore his knee up Tuesday, Thompson was at practice in full pads Wednesday. Thompson suffered what’s believed to be a shin bruise. He was a little gimpy but he went through all the drills during the media viewing period.
Running backs
Damien Harris led the group followed by Bo Scarbrough, Najee Harris and Brian Robinson. Josh Jacobs stood to the side on the only drill I witnessed.
Misc.
Nigel Knott, LaBryan Ray, Brandon Kennedy and Miller Forristall were all on the exercise bike in black jerseys.
