The team worked inside Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday afternoon. It was an overcast day in Tuscaloosa with a temperature of 49 degrees and a feels-like temperature of 45. Here is what I saw in the warm-ups prior to the scrimmage.
Offensive line
With the first grouping it was Jonah Williams at left tackle, Lester Cotton at left guard, Ross Pierschbacher at center, Jedrick Wills at right guard and Alex Leatherwood at right tackle.
Tight ends
The group worked in pairs with Irv Smith Jr. and Hale Hentges with the first group, Major Tennison and Miller Forristall and Kendrick James and Cam Stewart.
Quarterbacks
Tua Tagovailoa was dressed out and going through warmups. Earlier in the week, Nick Saban it was possible that Tagovailoa would play. No quarterback statistics will be released from today’s scrimmage, but Saban will likely update if he played or not.
Wide receivers
With one grouping it was Henry Ruggs III, and Derek Keif. With the other group it was DeVonta Smith (he’s been working with the secondary to provide depth) and Tyrell Shavers.
