– The media viewing periods finally included a look at full unit of five for the offensive line, and it was what the previous viewing periods suggested it would be: Landon Dickerson moving from right guard to center to replace the injured Chris Owens (knee), with Deonte Brown entering the lineup at right guard. Right tackle Jedrick Wills Jr., left guard Evan Neal and left tackle Alex Leatherwood remained in their usual spots.
– The offensive line period we saw included Kendall Randolph as an in-line tight end on the right side, putting Brown, Wills and Randolph next to each other on the same side of the line. That’s scary.
– Punters were active in the media viewing period, and Will Reichard did not attempt any in the viewing periods. If you want to read into limited practice performance, Ty Perine was booming the ball today.
– Jaylen Waddle made an impressive catch in the viewing period. They were working on goal line fades and ran a few from a slot position. Waddle turned around as he jumped, fully extended his right arm toward the sideline (he lined up in the left slot), grabbed it at full extension and finished his turn for a full 360 as he came down to the ground.
