Alabama offensive tackle Scott Lashley is in the transfer portal as a potential graduate transfer. The news was first reported by AL.com.

Lashley played in 19 games at UA through his redshirt junior season with no starts. He played 78 snaps in 2018 and 58 in 2019.

If Lashley follows through on his intent to transfer, he will be out of the competition for the final tackle spot on UA’s line in the absence of Jedrick Wills Jr. UA could move left guard Evan Neal to that right tackle spot, or choose to fill it with Tommy Brown or Pierce Quick, Brown being a redshirt junior in 2020 and Quick a redshirt sophomore.

Lashley came to Alabama as a four-star prospect from West Point, Mississippi. He was recruited by LSU, Mississippi State, Arkansas and others before choosing UA.
