ATHENS, Ga. – Erin Routliffe and Maddie Pothoff, University of Alabama doubles partners who are ranked No. 5 in the nation in college tennis, have advanced to the doubles semifinals at the NCAA Championships hosted by the University of Georgia.
The Crimson Tide duo defeated the nation’s No. 17-ranked team, Denver’s Julia O’Loughlin and Maureen Slattery in the tournament’s quarterfinals on Saturday. They will play LSU’s Ryann Foster and Joana Valle Costa on Sunday. The LSU duo ranked No. 16 nationally.
