The University of Alabama tennis teams will host the ITA Summer Circuit Tournament. The tournament started back in 1993, and has been an annual event since then.
The Tuscaloosa section of the tournament will be July 14-16, which is the fourth week of the tournament.
Players that advance through qualifying tournaments will compete in the ITA Summer Nationals, which will be held the weekend of Aug. 12-15 at TCU.
Overall there will be 100 athletes competing in the tournament. The athletes consist of college players, alumni and junior players.
The tournament will consist of a 64-person singles and a 32-team doubles draw for both men and women. The singles matches will be best two out of three sets with a 10-point tiebreaker, instead of a third set. Doubles will run an eight-game pro set with a tiebreaker at 7-7.
Matches start at 9 a.m. on July 14.
