CAIRO, Egypt – Mazen Osama, who will be a junior on the University of Alabama men’s tennis team this fall, reached the championship final of the 2017 Egypt F22 Futures Tournament, coming just short of the title.
The All-American and All-Southeastern Conference player advanced into the main draw out of the qualifiers. He lost in the main draw final to Youssef Hossam, 7-5(5), 6-1. Both Osama and Hossam are natives of Cairo.
