Twenty University of Alabama student-athletes are slated to receive 22 degrees at Saturday’s commencement.

Five members of the Tide football squad will earn bachelor’s degrees: J.C. Hassenauer, Derek Kief, Vohn Keith Jr., Ross Pierschbacher and Levi Wallace. Alabama will have 12 players on this year’s football roster who have already earned degrees, which ranks third nationally.

NCAA champion Pavel Romanov (swimming and diving) leads the charge, having earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree simultaneously though UA’s University Scholars Program.

Former Crimson Tide rower Brittany Starliper is also set to receive a pair of master’s degrees in business administration and science in business.

Others receiving master’s degrees this weekend include Sydney Littlejohn (softball), Bola Olaniyan (men’s basketball), Jacob Kelsoe (swimming and diving) and Canella Tinker (rowing).

Diamond Gause (track and field), Hannah Musser (swimming and diving) and Antibahs Kosgei (track and field/cross country) are set for graduation with their bachelor’s degrees.

Szymmy Day (swimming and diving), Emily Zapinki (swimming and diving), Hannah Waggoner (track and field/cross country), Mia Landegren (golf), Emily Stebbins (volleyball) and Tyler Adams (baseball) will all receive bachelor’s degrees as well.
