AUBURN – The Alabama women’s golf team is in sixth place at even par after an opening round 288 performance Sunday in the Evans Derby Experience at the par-72, 6,280-yard Auburn University Club.
Lauren Stephenson is tied for fifth with a 3-under par 69. Angelica Moresco is tied for 22nd after an even-par 72.
Florida State (278) holds the first round lead at 10-under par.
