BIRMINGHAM – At the Samford Alabama Track Challenge in Birmingham on Friday, Alabama swept the top four spots in the women’s 100 meters, led by Tamara Clark (11.27).

In the women’s 200 meters, Katie Funcheon (23.93), Hope Mazi (24.75) and Olivia Fotopoulou (24.99) were the top three collegiate finishers. Kaitlin Walker won the 400-meter hurdles in 59.09.

On the men’s side, Ruebin Walters won the 110-meter hurdles in 13.51. Dylan Scott won the 800 meters in 1:54.00. In the 200 meters, Keitavious Walter (20.91) and Alize Ford (21.19) finished first and second.

In the relays, Daija Lampkin, Clark, Symone Darius and Takyera Roberson won the women’s 4×100-meter relay in 44.10. The women’s 4×400-meter relay of Mazi, Darius, Funcheon and Jada Jackson also finished first in a time of 3:45.46. The Crimson Tide men’s quartet of Ford, Walter, Walters and junior Skyler Bowden won the men’s 4×100 in a time of 40.08.

Tianah List won the javelin with a throw of 161-7, Britainy Smith was the top collegiate finisher in pole vault with a clearance of 13-1 ½, Jaimie Robinson won the long jump with a 20-2 ¼ leap.
