GOLD RIVER, Calif. — Alabama rowing wrapped up competition at the Lake Natoma Invitational Sunday, with all of its boats placing in the top three including a pair of first-place finishes.
The Crimson Tide opened its racing Saturday, taking home a Petite Final victory along with seven third-place finishes. Alabama raced against a strong slate of teams including No. 2 Cal, No. 7 Stanford, No. 8 Brown, Sacramento State, San Diego, Notre Dame and Gonzaga.
Alabama will be back on the road in two weeks, traveling to Austin, Texas, for the Longhorn Invitational on April 28. It will be the last regatta of the regular season for the Crimson Tide before the Big 12 Conference Championships in May.
