ATHENS, Ga. – Georgia scored two runs in the seventh inning, including a walk-off single to defeat Alabama, 4-3, on Saturday in softball on Saturday.
Alabama (28-17, 8-12 SEC) and Georgia (42-7, 15-5) play the final game of the series Sunday at 1 p.m.
Alabama’s Elissa Brown went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and a run scored. Brown drove in the first run of the game on an RBI single, with the Tide’s remaining RBIs coming from a single from Demi Turner and a bases-loaded walk from Kaylee Tow.
