FORT WORTH, Texas – Rising Alabama senior Andie Daniell easily advanced in the opening round of the qualifying draw of the $25k Fort Worth Pro Tennis Classic after shutting out Daria Tomashevskaya (CAN), 6-0, 6-0, on Sunday in Fort Worth, Texas.
Daniell will take on Alexandra Osborne (Arizona State) on Monday. Osborne defeated Jacqueline Payne (Georgia State) on Sunday to make it to the second round against Daniell.
