AKRON, Ohio — Justin Thomas is the leader through three rounds of the 2018 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club.

The former University of Alabama golfer shot a 3-under-par 67 on Saturday on the South Course to bring his 54-hole total to 14-under-par overall.

Ian Poulter and Rory McIlroy are in a tie for second place at 11-under overall. McIlroy shot a 67 on Saturday and Poulter carded a 70.

Thomas has six birdies, nine pars and three bogeys Saturday. His birdies came on Nos. 2, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14.

Jason Day is fourth at 10-under-par overall after putting together a 69 on Saturday.

Marc Leishman and Kyle Stanley are at 9-under for the tournament and tied for fifth.

Rickie Fowler and Jon Rahm are tied for seventh overall at 8-under. Fowler posted a 65 and Rahm shot a 68.

Louis Oosthuizen and Tommy Fleetwood are tied for ninth at 7-under-par.

Patrick Cantlay is in a tie for 11th at 6-under with Brooks Koepka, Rafa Cabrera Bello, Anirban Lahiri, Luke List and Si Woo Kim.

Cantlay put together an interesting round with a birdie-eagle-triple bogey beginning on the first three holes. He finished his round with one eagle, six birdies, three bogeys, one triple bogey and seven pars.

Eight-time Firestone champion Tiger Woods shot 3-over-par and is 3-under-par for the tournament. He is tied for 28th.

Dustin Johnson, the No. 1 ranked player in the world, is tied for 22nd at 4-under-par for the tournament. He posted a 66 on Saturday.
