AUBURN – On Friday, the University of Alabama women’s and men’s cross country teams got a first look at the course they will run on at the SEC Championships as the women’s team finished fourth and the men’s team fifth at the SEC Preview Meet at Indian Pines Golf Course in Auburn.
Nicole Gardner was the top finisher for the Crimson Tide women, covering the 4,000-meter course in 13:55.1 to finish ninth in her first outing of the season. Connor Ferrentino led the Crimson Tide men, finishing 18th in 18:56.1 in his season debut in the 6,000-meter race.
